It’s hard to believe the puppies are two weeks old tonight. They were each weighed and given their first worming tonight. They are growing so fast. Their little eyes are starting to open and they are moving about on wobbly legs. They really are a miracle.
I tried to photograph them all for their two week portraits today. This is much easier said than done. I did a lot of rocking and snuggling and even resorted to singing “Too-ra Loo-ra Loo-ra” which was one of my mom’s favorites. She sang it to us when we were little and I sang it to my babies. Why not try it on the puppies? It seemed to work on little orange collar boy who never feels like he has enough to eat. He is my tiniest puppy. He is still growing as he should but he started out smaller than the others. He is precious. They all are.
I take this time to pray over each of them. That might seem silly to some, but I believe God cares about all living things. I want these pups to be a blessing wherever they go and I want them to be in the right homes.
So here they are, in the order of their birth. You can’t see their collars in most of the images so I have captioned them to show who is who.
