Offering
Spring is almost here and one by one I see them. The flowering trees are bringing their offerings to the warmth of the sun.
It is a picture of worship.
Little peach tree down by the barn is no exception. In fact, she is first in line. The cold nights are not yet passed and yet she is unafraid. She opens her most tender places in faith. She believes that spring will come, the honey bees will do their work and flowers will one day become fruit. But first, an offering of worship.
Each opening is an act of faith — an exercise in vulnerability. I believe each flower forgets herself in the hypnotic warmth of the sun. It is a love story unfolding (quite literally) before our eyes each spring.
It encourages me to bring my offering, small as it is. No act of worship is overlooked by our creator God. See all around us? This world is teaching us who he is and how he loves us. Nature is one exquisitely beautiful love letter from our Father God.
Worship leads to the sweetest fruit.

Open
