This is my Katie. I adore this photo of her because it is who she is. She is a free spirit, full of life and joy. She has the heart of a child. Her name means pure grace and that she is.
Our Katie. A worshiper of the Most High. A loyal friend and sister. She loves to laugh and dance and sing. When she was a baby we wrote a song about how our lives would be someday if we had everything we wanted. My favorite line in the song includes her. It says “We see Katie praising Jesus because we taught her that is he king”. This has come true for us. We have had the joy of watching her lead others in worship just like her daddy.
Katie, the world is a better place because you are here. When God turned mine upside down to give me a baby in my first year of marriage, I had no idea what a gift he was giving me. I am so grateful.
We are so proud of you.
