Tonight my husband let me take a few photos of him for my project. This is another reason why I am grateful for this project. I love documenting the people I love. I am not sure I would do it otherwise. Life is busy and it is hard to breathe slow and honor the moments we are in.
So tonight I will always remember us — out in the front yard with my studio lights and the tree frogs singing in Spring. He was funny and patient with me. He made lots of faces in between the serious shots to make me laugh.
I so wish it wasn’t after midnight and my mind were clearer. I want to write about all the amazing things he is. But I am on borrowed time and my head needs to rest on my pillow.
Suffice it to say that he is wonderful. When I saw him sitting in front of my studio light being silly and making me laugh, I fell all over again. I won the jackpot. He is my true love.
Husband.
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 ~”If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
