Meet Isabella. She belongs to my sweet friend Cynthia. Cynthia brought her in today because she is participating in a pageant and needed some photos. She is the sweetest child. She must have hugged me 5 or 6 times even though she doesn’t remember meeting me when she was a baby. She is the youngest in her family and the apple of her daddy’s eye.
Her mommy is very special to me. She was part of a dance ministry I led at our church for several years. She always danced with such beauty and grace even though she never had any formal training. I loved the pure heart she brought to her worship. I miss that team. They will always have a part of my heart.
I love the freedom I see in Isabella –freedom to be beautiful –freedom to love and be affectionate. She gives her heart unreservedly without fear. I know her parents have a lot to do with that. I pray she always walks in this much joy. I see great and wonderful things for her precious life.
Isaiah 61:3 ~ “…to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.”
