I love this image of Harrison being held by his family. Even his big sister Mackenzie is getting in on holding her baby brother.
Isn’t this what it looks like when we come together to pray, love and support each other when one of us is hurting? We are held by so many hands. I am so grateful for the many people who have prayed for us, made us meals, and called or texted me in my lowest points. Thank you to everyone of you who have lifted me up to the Father as I have endured the loss of my mom. My heart is so fragile and I know your prayers have sewn me together.
Are we not all like the paralyzed man who was literally lowered into Jesus’s presence by his friends? Jesus healed him not for his own faith, but because of the faith of his friends. How beautiful. We are dependent on one another and it is so tenderly beautiful.
The special family in this photo has encountered a tragedy of their own in the last two weeks and very much need prayer and support. Without going into detail, I will just say they need to be held like they are holding sweet Harrison.
Thank you. May you also be held in your darkest hours. God is faithful and will provide exactly what you need.
Peace and blessings this night.
Luke 5:18-20 ~”Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus. When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus. When Jesus saw their faith, he said, ‘Friend, your sins are forgiven.'”
